Pre-Sales Jitters

Today, I'm the guest blogger at one of Kathy Holme's blogs "Women's Fiction with Attitude." When I inquired about stopping by on my cybertour, Kathy was happy to oblige. Before I give you a link to my blog entry entitled "Pre-sales Jitters" I wanted to tell you a little about Kathy.

She's the author of Myths of the Fatherless: 15 Myths Debunked

MYTHS OF THE FATHERLESS attempts to dispel 15 myths by sharing the author's story of her search for her father and eventual reunion with him. Throughout her journey, she discovered she was not alone, and despite her denial, fathers are very important to a woman. And whatever the reason the father is missing, not knowing him affects a woman's relationships with men and her entire life.

But fatherless daughters are not without hope. There is a Heavenly Father, who is called the "father to the fatherless."

Kathy Holmes met her father for the first time in 2002. That prompted a desire to raise an awareness of fatherless daughters through writing: novels, books, articles, and blogs. And while she can't prevent one more child from being separated from her biological father, she hopes to raise an awareness of what it means to a woman to not know her father, and, hopefully, encourage her to take a step toward finding and meeting him, if possible. It took her over 40 years to do it and her only regret is that she waited so long.

For more information, including articles and other books, see her web site at www.kathyholmes.net.
